Happiness and Joy

Happiness, I believe, is one of the most universal wants/needs that every human wants. A lot of people search for happiness their whole lives. Sometimes it takes someone a while before they even know what would make them happy. Sadly some don’t even try to figure it out and just go through life with a chip on their shoulders because they never figure out what happiness is for them.
I’ve figured out that you are the key to your happiness. The decision is yours. You are the only one that can make you happy. The decision is in you. You have to work toward what makes you happy. There is no wonderful soulmate, job, or residence that exists that will equal to your happiness. You have to determine for yourself that you are going to be happy. You have to be able to be happy within. You also have to find happiness in any situation. Especially if you are like me. I believe everything happens for a reason. Therefore, there is something to learn in every situation in life. Some big and some small but a lesson either way. So knowing that should indicate that you are the origin of your joy. No, every day won’t be sunshine and roses but joy and happiness can still be achieved. Find yourself and you will find the joy within yourself. #MotivationalMondays
